Lois Cunningham is a multidisciplinary visual artist from North Carolina. She is currently a third-year student who attends the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She is pursuing a BFA in Studio Art (with a concentration in Drawing) and a BA in New Media (with a concentration in 2D Animation), as well as a minor in Africana Studies. When she graduates, she hopes to pursue a career as a working artist in animation and illustration because she wants to inspire others to the change they want to see in the world.

She utilizes both traditional and digital media to convey her vision of her inner world. She pulls directly from her experiences, memories, and environment to create works that resonate with others. When she creates, she hopes to bring people into her inner world and see life from a unique perspective. ​
